How To Photograph a Dog

If you love your pet, take a picture of it, enlarge it, frame it, and hang it in a prominent place in your home. It will make you happy every time you see it, and you'll have it to remember your best friend forever.
It's easier than you think to take a great picture of your buddy, whether it's a cat, dog, or any other pet. Move a couch or chair close to a window. The light coming in the window should be soft, not direct sunlight. Throw a sheet over the chair, if you like. A light colored sheet is nice, but if your pet is light in color, you could use a dark colored sheet. Wrinkles in the sheet are fine...don't worry about that. When your pet is tired, or in a calm mood, move him over to the couch or chair, and let him relax. Stand in front, but not blocking the light from the window, and set up the picture. When you have it framed in your camera and it looks nice, give a little whistle so your pet looks up calmly and snap the shot. It's a little bit of work, but worth it in the end. Have a nice large print made and frame it. It will warm your house and your heart. |
